The Chase: Act I

I saw her and tried to chase her in my dreams,
But she was made up like the Massacre of Bowling Green.
I wonder if my sleep is the real and the real is the fake
If the dreams are the truth, and they lie when I'm awake.

Just like Uno how do you know when you've got the upper hand?
Papi chulo, head to Lulo's for fresh juice with my friend,
Right then, I saw something I couldn't comprehend,
Two aliens playing domino's with Tom Cruise and Jackie Chan?!

Noche de Navidad sueño, sombra, penumbras...  En la alcoba infantil yo le pedia,  la Pascua al Niño y en torno presentia de azules alas misterioso vuelo...  Despues dormi soñandome en el cielo... oia al Niño Dios que me decia...  Tu zapatito pons se acerca el dia ... muevete y al punto cumplire tu anhelo...  Mas estaba desnudo y no encontraba zapato que poner,  cruce un prado azul de margaritas bellas y en el aura del escarpin de la fortuna,  cogi el zapato de la media luna y el mismo Dios me lo lleno de estrellas.  -Magdalena Serna de Vargas.
